Narragansett Bay is a sailor's delight with fresh southerly breezes most afternoons in the summer. There are many harbors, coves and inlets that can easily be sailed to for a day trip or a weekend overnighter from Apponaug Harbor Marina. The Apponaug Harbor Yacht Club was founded in 1968 and has a very active schedule of racing and social events. |
